The New Love · Session 4
A Safe Space for Feeling
With Romana Aniya Ercegović and Her Soul
Hello dear friend,
Welcome again to our sacred safe space of transformation, a sacred space where we open up and allow ourselves to feel, and to understand, deeper layers of our being. Those layers that have been keeping us from living fully, from loving fully. We can say, the layers of our love that were not recognized as such, that were judged as wrong. Layers of our suppression, of hatred.
We are here to let go of some of our chains. Because what else are chains, than the heaviness of shaming, of judgment, of trying to be put in a place where there is no freedom, where there is a perception of not being free.
So I would invite you now, to really find yourself a comfortable place where nobody can distract you. To find yourself a place where you are cozy, where you feel safe, and allow the next step of the process that we are all going through.
It is not a very easy process, as you can see by now. Lots of feelings are coming up to be released, to be welcomed to your consciousness. Lots of these memories, maybe. Another perspective of memories.
I feel myself, as a human, this surprising layer of discovering the shame, and - that many times the most beautiful things that I did, the most beautiful creations, the most beautiful deeds or thoughts, the purest ones, were judged as wrong. As bad. As not good enough. And I believed it.
This diving into the shame has so many different faces and layers, so I would invite you to really take time for this process, because it might bring out some very, very hidden feelings. And very unpleasant ones, too.
So I hope, we hope, that we are creating this place safe enough for you to really feel safe to let all this happen, to let all this be felt without a rush. It doesn't need to be done in two days or three days. Let's be patient with ourselves.
Taking it slowly is also part of self-love. Allowing ourselves to be slow, to be patient, to be loving with the process. Not like, “Oh, let's do it! Let's be done with that!” Because there is so much beauty to be revealed in this process, so many parts of you that felt ashamed, but that were so beautiful!
So much light of yours that was covered, because somebody told you that you are not good enough. Somebody told you that you are ugly. That you did that wrong. That you did that inappropriately. And when you look at it deeper, you realize it is not true.
Maybe this person did that on purpose, or with the intention to protect you. Or with an intention to take the shining away from you, so they wouldn't feel in danger that their light wouldn't be seen, or because of jealousy, or because of power. They simply didn't want you to shine in all your beauty, in all your worth.
So much suppression of the feminine is also connected with all this shame in last thousands of years. We were told, we were taught, to be ashamed of our feelings, of our magic, of our abilities to feel interdimensionally and multidimensionally, to see beyond 3D reality, to feel beyond the logic of the mind. All that was a source of shame.
We were all told that crying is wrong, and shameful. How many tears did we swallow during this lifetime?
How many emotions did we feel ashamed of?
I am sure that any of us here have heard how bad it is to feel negative feelings, how wrong it is to be jealous, to hate, to feel resentment. And instead of creating a safe space to feel all of that, to lovingly look at these feelings, at where they come from, at how to help our nervous system to feel relaxed and not in need of hatred anymore, but allowing the love in. Instead of really bringing those feelings out in a safe space, many times—because they were shamed as bad and negative—we pushed them even deeper. We hid them, pretending we don't have them and that we are just bright and positive. And they are still waiting there.
They are waiting there for you, like little scared children waiting for a parent to come and get them and tell them they are okay, that they are safe to be as they are, and to feel them.
You don't need to be afraid to feel all that you feel, because what happens is just the opposite as you would maybe expect. When you feel the energies expand, in the first moment they might feel terrible. But when they can expand, they can also get out of these places of tightness, of suppression, and they can start to dissolve. So, feeling them is liberating them, however long it might take.
So, if you allow this place here, this workshop we are doing now, this process can be a place where you really allow all these feelings, not to just be understood, but also felt in all their comfortable or uncomfortable form.
So, with that said, I would now invite you to this even more safe space, in a field of light, in a field of love, that we are creating here together with you. Together with your soul and with your human we are consciously creating an opening here, for these parts of us to come to consciousness. For those parts of us that we pushed, or that were pushed, away so we could survive and so we could come to this point.
But now we are ready to go to the next level. We are ready to really, fully, live our lives. And this means to embrace also this darkness, these new layers of darkness that are creating this effect of pushing on a brake. Like we want to fly, and then there is this need to push on the brake because we are not ready. And now we are going to look deeper at why we are pushing on the brake, at what we are afraid of, at what we are ashamed of.
Expanding into the light many times means also to be more exposed, to be more exposed in our relationships, to be more vulnerable, to be more available, to be more open in expressing what we feel, what we really feel. Not just pleasing others or shaming others, or whatever we do, but to really be vulnerable in moments when things don't go so smoothly. To speak about the places that are shameful for us. To allow ourselves to come into a relationship with the whole of us, not just this part of us that another person likes, but to do it in a safe space within ourselves first. Then a relationship with ourselves, and with others, can go on a new level, in a deeper, safer place where love can actually have space.
So, let's take now this time, this opportunity, this safe space, for feeling, to just be.
We don't need to do anything. We just need to be, and let it come to us without expectation, without pushing.
Just be in this place of us.
Just be in awareness that it’s okay, that you are safe.
That you are loved.
That you can love yourself.
That you are allowed to love all of you.
In this place where you become aware that you are actually so vast, so infinite, where you can expand from all this heaviness that you feel in your body. Where you can feel how you expand beyond your stories. Where you just are.
You don't need to imagine anything right now.
Just feel your body, and allow the lightness to come in.
To slowly sink in, like gentle waves of sacred waters.
Like lightness that is slowly sinking into your cells.
You are free.
You are free, and you are so loved!
Just allow yourself to be, and to rest in this feeling.
Just allow yourself to just be, without agenda of what needs to happen. But just be.
Just be.
With your eyes closed, just allow yourself to just slowly sink into this slowness, into this stillness.
And just be here in this emptiness, in feeling good with yourself.
Just feeling good to be.
Just feeling good.
Just relaxing your body.
It is naturally relaxing, you don't need to do anything.
But as you allow this stillness, you might feel this gentle flow of light entering the cells of your body.
Just flowing in, in your body.
You can maybe feel how light is coming into you, how your body is expanding beyond your physical body, how you are allowing this field of light, how you are receiving lightness.
Just allow this light to come in.
To feel the spaces between the spaces.
To feel the spaces between your cells, between your tissues.
Just allow this love of your soul to slowly and gently pour in, and to make you feel safe.
Creating this space of your stillness.
Creating this space that more of you can come in.
Creating this space of stability in your heart, in your being, and this awareness that you are soul.
And that you are love, yourself.
And in this awareness it is so much easier to accept, also, these layers that felt judged or shamed.
In this place you are aware that you are so much more, and that your real you is ready to show you more of yourself, more of your light that was covered by layers of shame.
This is the place where you can forgive, if you feel like there is a need for forgiveness.
Or just observe, and accept and allow, your feelings.
This is a place that brings everything to light, where everything is allowed to dissolve.
Allowed to be embraced.
Allowed to just be.
And to transform, to change its form, to soften up.
Can you feel this lightness of your self-love?
Of the presence of the soul, that is bringing all your stories into the perspective of love, of compassion, of acceptance, of honor, of honor of you and who you truly are.
And honor of all these experiences that you had, that you went through.
Honoring your courageousness.
Honoring your human journey.
Honoring everything that you called dark, or that is called dark because it is not understood.
It is not understood as beauty, as an important part of the wisdom.
It is not accepted in society.
But it is part of your strength.
It is part of your wisdom.
...
Society usually wants to have us in a certain way. In a certain way to be controlled, to fit into systems. Whatever kind of it there is, educational, traditional, religious...
And everything that is beyond that within us is considered shameful. Everything that doesn't fit into this nice bottle.
So much shame around the body, about sexuality, about passion, even about happiness. Being simply happy is just... Not so far ago it was so unimportant.
Even our grandparents, some of them were married because their parents told them with whom to be married, not because they were allowed to follow their heart or to follow their own feelings of happiness.
Just this simple right to be happy, to make things that make you happy, to choose your journey, to choose the path that makes you happy instead of doing what you are supposed to do, or what brings you material security. All these things that we take for granted are still a source of so much shame.
This process of liberating ourself, of really liberating ourselves from all these ideas of who we are, of who we are supposed to be—as we are stepping out of shame we are stepping out of so much of society’s rules and so many layers of hundreds and hundreds of years when being yourself was simply totally shameful and suppressed.
So, in this process we are also bringing out all this sacredness that was judged as wrong, as sinful.
Sacredness of your body, of your sensuality, of your soul also. Of different perceptions of spirituality than were considered acceptable in the circles of society, or in certain spiritual circles. All that is liberating now from your belly, from your body.
You are allowed to be who you are, and to love yourself in your wholeness. In your truth. In your authenticity.
And this makes these layers, these chains of shame, just automatically dissolve.
And this, my dear friend, is what it is all about.
It is about freedom to be you, in your own unique way. Without fear, without an urge to push on your brakes. Without a need to hide yourself because you are weird, because you are not understood.
It is about courageousness to feel who you are and what you like and what brings you joy, and to follow it. And to be it.
What brings you joy, and what brings you this feeling of fulfillment within?
Shame, so many times, covers our passion, our soul passion, our feeling of feeling good, because we were told so many times by others, and maybe even by ourselves, that what feels good to us doesn't matter, or it’s just too simple, too unimportant, too weird, too different, and we decided to just back off and to be in this safe, hidden place. And in this safe comfort zone there is not so much place for joy.
So, this is what it is all about.
To remember our deep self, what makes you feel alive, and allow these layers of suppression, this self-torture with shame, with judgment, with all these chains, to slowly loosen up and dissolve and give space to receive more of you. To receive the light. To expand into the free being that you are, that I am.
Take a few deep breaths and feel again.
You are safe to be who you are and who you want to be.
And if you don't know what you want to be, it doesn't matter.
Just allow yourself to feel you now.
To feel this magnificent love that you are in this moment, in this safe space where your soul is welcomed to shower you with love.
Where your soul is showing you the feeling of being really you, the place of beauty where your doubts also start dissolving. And where even doubts can be embraced.
All these feelings of shame might not go away, but we don't need to be ashamed of them anymore.
Like a child that is maybe naughty or angry or doesn't behave as we would maybe like him or her to behave, but it is still our child and we are the parents. And we can hold this child and let him or her be, even in anger, even in sadness. We are just there for them, without trying to make them more suitable for us or make them more pleasant for us. They are how they are, and we are this mature adult now that can be and hold this angry child at the same time.
So are our feelings, our emotions, and our so-called dark parts. So are our judgments and our shames and all these things that we might not necessarily manage to get rid of as much as sometimes we would like to, maybe. Or we would judge them as this unnecessary crap.
But our child is part of us, and it is just not going to go away. And the more we push it away, the more it comes to us.
So instead, let's love these children within.
Let's feed them with our love, and eventually they will feel safe.
We don't need to allow them to dictate our lives. We don't need to pamper them in a way of, “Oh, I’m going to be angry if you are angry!”
But let's listen to them.
Let's feel compassion for them.
Let's not be afraid and ashamed of their hatred, of whatever they are feeling.
And eventually, with our love, they will not feel the need to hate anymore.
Because hatred and jealousy and envy come from lack of love, and slowly they will start to feel that they are loved and that they don't need this heavy resistance anymore.
...
Let's take a few deep breaths.
...
Let it in.
...
Let it in.
...
Let it in.
Let's honor this process.
Let's honor also the slowness of this process.
It doesn't need to be happening quickly. In fact, it usually doesn't happen quickly, but it takes time. And we can enjoy in that time.
It doesn't have to be taken as a job.
This integration process can be also fun, because we know we are so much more than all these layers of heaviness within us. Even though we feel them, and it is good that we feel them. Because with feeling them we allow these blocks to be moved, to be softened, to be liberated.
So, my dear friend, let’s just be for a few moments with all that.
Let’s just be in the sacred waters of love, of your soul, who always, always, always loves you unconditionally, completely, without any doubt, without any condition.
Yes, feel it.
Feel this love.
Or if you can't feel it, just know it is there. And it is coming closer to you as your layers or walls of shame are slowly disintegrating from your beingness.
So dear friend, take some time with yourself now.
Let slowly, with the music ... stay with it as much as you feel, and in your own embrace.
And we will meet again in the next session.
Enjoy yourself.
