The New Love · Session 11
Questions and Answers
With Master Anna, channeled by John McCurdy, and Romana Aniya Ercegović and Her Soul
Romana Aniya: Hello everybody!
John: Hello!
Romana Aniya: So nice to see you after a while. For us, it has been quite a while since we did the last session, maybe a month or two?
John: More than that. It's taken quite a bit of time to get the website ready and go through our own processes with this class. It's been quite an adventure! We're happy to be here now to do the question and answer session and the final wrap-up session.
Romana Aniya: Thank you so much for all your beautiful questions! Very deep ones.
This is going to be a really deep session now when all our human questions come up, and after, Soul gives their own answers. And then we stay alone with our humaneness and with all the difficulties on our human journey, and this is a moment now when we will be talking about that.
John: So, we have a number of questions and we hope we'll get through all of them. Probably not all, though.
We appreciate each one of you who sent in questions, because they're going to benefit not just you, but everyone who sees this class in the future. So thank you!
We are both going to channel our souls. Sometimes I'll read a question, sometimes Romana will read a question, and we'll just flow with this.
So, again, thank you for being part of this class! And we'll see where we go with the session.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, and thank you for your courageousness to go through this process. It's quite an adventure, isn't it?
John: It is. It brought up so many things for us! Beautiful, beautiful process, but definitely intense.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, and it feels like... To me personally, it feels like when we started it I felt like, oh, you know, I've been questioning and diving into my own shame and all this self-criticism and all this lack of self-esteem all my life. And I was almost disappointed in realizing how much is still there.
And what I can say after all these sessions that we did is that it's not that all these things are gone, but that I can much more recognize when they come up, and discern, and see more into the layers of what they are bringing, and decide whether I want to go with these feelings or if I want to respond in a self-loving way. Yeah, this is one of the benefits that this class brought for me.
How about you, John? How do you feel?
John: Oh, it's been such a process of letting go of my human expectations and agendas, and opening up to the flow of life and of creation and all these things! And of recognizing so much in me, and opening up so much. And that's not always pleasant or fun, but it's so beautiful!
And I am so honored to get to do this with my beloved wife, Romana!
Romana Aniya: Yeah, it’s beautiful to do it together!
John: It's such an honor.
This class, for me, is something that's been wanting to come out of me for a very long time. Many lifetimes, actually. And it's finally the right time, so here we are.
Anything else?
Romana Aniya: I think we are ready. I'm ready.
John: Okay, so we're going to pause to breathe just a little bit, and we'll see where we go with this.
[a pause to breathe]
...
Master Anna: I am that I am!
Master Anna, of Magical service.
Oh, finally! Here we are, ready to bring this class to its, um... John was going to say conclusion, but that's not the right word.
Romana Aniya: Completion?
Master Anna: Completion, exactly. Thank you!
Yes, to its completion. Though it will continue to go on and on for you, and to go deeper and deeper.
Ahh... Such a beautiful class! A beautiful experience!
So, as we get started we have a number of questions here, and I want to give you the answer to every single one before we start.
Our dear friend, the ascended master Tobias, said it first, years and years ago:
Accept all things as they are.
...
That's the key. That is the key to loving yourself.
As long as there is anything you are not accepting, anywhere in life, or in the world, or in your experience, that is a part of you that you are not accepting yet.
It seems counterintuitive to the human, because the human thinks, “Oh, if I don't fix this thing in my life, then I'm not loving myself!” But that's backwards.
First you accept it, just as it is.
Accept all things just as they are.
Then you are loving yourself. Then all of those aspects and all of those parts of you that you haven't been loving can start to come home.
So, given that, we'll go on with your questions and bring our own wisdom, as best we can, to them, and hopefully inspire you to bring your wisdom to them.
So, let's begin.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, I would just like to add to this thought.
I wrote a poem once that began with, “Freedom is when you accept reality as it is. Then all disappointments go away.” Or something like that. And it felt really cruel to me when I wrote it, but I'm realizing more and more that this is really the key to freedom and self-love.
So, dear ones, let's start with first question.
Romana Aniya, reading Question 1: I have truly experienced some amazing things and learned so much through your workshop. I'm deeply grateful. I would like to share a recent experience of mine and ask for your advice.
Over the past two years I have been suffering from hepatitis. I was hospitalized twice due to acute severe pain, but the cause of the hepatitis could not be identified. Strangely, I realized that my body now rejects sweet foods. When I eat sweets I used to love, like cake or chocolate, I experience abdominal pain. And if I continue eating them, the hepatitis returns.
Being unable to eat sweets made me realize that I had actually been addicted to them. And as I gave them up I felt emptiness and anxiety, as if going through withdrawal.
Another thing I came to realize is that the liver is not simply an organ that detoxifies food and physical toxins. I also learned that our harsh thoughts and emotions can be just as toxic. Although I believed I had come to accept and love myself more than ever before, I still found myself wondering why the illness persisted.
After the final session, through deep reflection and attending your workshop, I came to an important realization. I had some awareness that the outer world reflects the self, but when you said that criticism of the outer world is actually a reflection of inner shame, it resonated with me deeply. It helped me finally understand why my liver was still suffering. It was because of the toxic effects of shame, and I noticed a real shift in my perception and perspective.
I would appreciate hearing your thoughts of what I've shared, as well as any advice you might have on how to approach my illness and my attitude towards it.
Master Anna: Ah, indeed, what a beautiful awareness you've had! And so true.
It's not the physical things you put in your body that affect it, nearly as much as it is the mental things you put in it. The thoughts, the emotions, the shame. That's where the effect is.
Indeed, sweet things, so beautiful, so wonderful! But like any good thing, they can become an addiction. We have much to say on that subject, but we are going to wait for another question to go there, because there is another question about addiction. So we'll talk more about it then.
But for you, dear friend, you are on the right track. Trust yourself. Trust your body. If it's rejecting some things there is a reason for that, and you don't have to understand the reason. You just have to trust it.
Trust that your body knows, your soul knows, and treat yourself gently.
[To Romana Aniya] Do you have anything to add on this?
Romana Aniya: Not really, maybe later.
Master Anna: Yes, we will be talking much more about these body issues, and addiction and related things.
But you are already there. You already have the answer. You said it so beautifully, so trust that. And stay tuned as we go.
Romana Aniya: I would just maybe add that the physical condition, at least for me, doesn't change immediately after we come to realization. But it takes, for a body, some time to readjust to the new program that we now are living. So the illness can be maybe longer, although we change inside, and the physical body needs a little bit more time to adjust to that.
Master Anna: Yes.
The body, everything about you, is going through an intensive transformation right now. So intensive!
It's not just getting well. That's not the point of this at all.
You are changing the very nature of your body. Your whole reality is changing its very nature, and it's a difficult and challenging and intensive process. And again, as difficult as it is, it's so beautiful!
And yes, there is the other side of it, and you'll get there soon enough. But in the meantime, this is an intensive process.
So, next question.
Romana Aniya, reading Question 2: When someone is accusing me or blaming me, or playing whatever kind of power game, how can I recognize if this is an aspect of mine which I have not welcomed home yet, or if it is a situation where I need to set boundaries?
Master Anna: Well, the first thing to understand is that everything in your experience is coming from inside of you.
It's a reflection. Everything in the outer world is a reflection of your inner world, and if there are challenges in front of you, well, those are places where maybe there is a part of you that you are not accepting yet.
So, it's all part of you. It's all an aspect of you, or a reflection of you.
Now, as for boundaries, keep in mind that boundaries are for you. You can't force another person to honor your boundaries, but you can set them for yourself so that you don't put yourself in that situation anymore.
If somebody is abusing you, you walk away. Take yourself out of that situation, and don't go back.
And then, hold yourself.
Feel the things that come up.
Don't try to fix yourself. Don't try to figure out what part of you that was reflecting.
Just hold yourself. Wrap your arms around yourself and accept you just the way you are.
Then you'll be clear about your boundaries, and you will know where you need to set them and how to enforce them in ways that set you free rather than hooking you in deeper.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, I would add here that if someone is accusing or blaming, sometimes it's not possible to, you know, just walk away. Sometimes there are people who are connected with our lives, whether we have a child with them or, you know, they are maybe some family that we still are part of the whole dynamic.
So, from my perspective, I would say here that it's not a question of recognizing if it's an aspect of you or if it's a situation where boundaries need to be set. It's both the same.
It doesn't matter if it's my aspect, for I also sometimes need to make boundaries in front of my aspects and to say, “No, I'm not accepting this. This is not respectful to myself. This is not loving to myself.”
And if it's not loving to myself and respectful to myself, it doesn't matter if it's my aspect or somebody else's reflection of my aspect, or whatever. It's just something that makes me feel not loved. And what I want is to be loved and respected, so in both cases I create my own sacred space. And this is a place of love and respect.
And somehow, you know, it's not simple, and every situation has a different answer to that.
Master Anna: We would say that the bottom line is: You love you, and then you will know.
You can't plan it out in advance. You can't figure it all out. But when you love you, and constantly ask yourself the question, “Is this loving me? Is this respectful to me?” Then you'll know. You'll know where the boundaries need to be set and where they don't.
Just love you. That's the bottom line.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, and also there is some deeper layer maybe, to that.
For me, I'm lately more and more... When I see people who are blaming me or accusing me, I can see them deeper. I can see what place they are coming from. And many times, I feel compassion for them. I don't need to be so, you know, to set boundaries. But to be clear: This is not my pain. I understand you are coming from your pain, but I'm not a trash for rubbish so you can throw that on me. But I do understand you. I do honor where you are coming from.
And so that is one situation. Another is that maybe I am so afraid of my own space. For example, with John, sometimes he says something and I feel all offended. And he didn't even mean to offend me, but that's how I understood. Or it was just like, you know, he awkwardly expressed himself.
So, I feel that in every situation it is good to feel deeper. Not necessarily to analyze what's happening, but to feel deeper.
What is happening with this person?
Is this person really trying to hurt me?
Or are they just awkwardly expressing themselves, or coming from the pain or whatever is happening with them?
But very important is that I feel myself in my space, my sacred, loving space. Not protecting it, but in a way making it clear that I am not accepting these toxic energies anymore.
Master Anna: Indeed.
Romana Aniya: Do you want to read the next one?
John, reading Question 3: It's somewhat confusing to hear that falling in love with myself is not something that I, the human can do, but is Soul's job, even though it is through the human that Soul knows what love is. And that the human's job is to experience, and all of it is me, soul plus human.
It might be my mind who tries to grasp this. But I've always valued my mind, and I feel he is entitled to understand better and not just step aside. Could you help clarify, please?
Master Anna: Ahh...
Indeed, the first thing we want to say to clarify here is, step back from the mind.
Yes, it is a valuable, valuable part of you, and it deserves your full respect! But it needs to understand its place.
This question is so full of mental questions, the mind trying to figure out things that it simply cannot figure out. It is simply not possible. So I ask you to back up a little, take a breath, and feel.
You know the answer, inside of you, but you can't find it through analyzing it. You have to feel it.
Your soul, you, it's all the same. But your mind takes on this idea that it's somehow separate, and it is not. And it needs to understand that.
It needs to understand that, while it was in charge of managing your life for a long time, now it is not. Now you are in this process—a difficult process—of letting go of the mind. Not to get rid of it, but putting it in its rightful place.
It's like the tip end of the little finger of who you really are. It's valuable. It has served you so well. But you cannot answer this question through the mind. You have to feel the answer.
Feel the love coming from your soul.
Let go of all the mental questions about it, and of trying to understand it. The mind can't.
But you can feel it, and you can know it.
So, I would simply invite you to feel the love of your soul.
Don't try to understand it, but feel it.
Know it.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, I would just say that in this whole process that we have been going through these years, it is about, for me at least, slowly surrendering the position of mind to the big, amazing, magnificent mystery of life, of soul, of love. And of course, with respect for the mind.
But it's like in one channel I remember you [John] did, you said that soul, the heart, is the queen, or the captain, of your life. So let's make Soul the captain of our life, and mind is first officer.
And this feels to me like a beautiful metaphor. Mind can be a beautiful, wonderful first officer, but the captain is love, is soul, and the feeling. Not analyzing and understanding it, but what mind can do, and what human can do, is give space and give respect to love and to the heart frequency.
Because this consciousness of love was for so many centuries second hand. It was for so many centuries put away, not respected, not honored, not understood. So it is really time for the mind to step back and to give space to the deeper mystery of life, of soul.
Master Anna: Yes. And in the greatest of honor!
The mind had a valuable job to do. But that job is over, and now it is time to let it rest.
Your knowing does not come through the mind. It cannot come through the mind! But it is there.
But the mind will try everything it can to confuse that knowing, because it wants to try to understand it in human mind terms. And it can't.
But your knowing is there, so feel into that.
Romana Aniya: So, next question:
Romana Aniya, reading Question 4: Quote: Be kind to you, even when that means being unkind to someone else. End of quote.
The last two to three years, I had several encounters like that with different people. A brother, a long-time friend, a close cousin, with similar consequences. They have told me off for what I, in their opinion, did wrong, and they are not speaking to me anymore.
I can see that relationships which were appropriate before are not anymore. But the fact is, there is hardly anybody left in my human life. So far no other, more appropriate, connections have entered my life, and I'm not sure if I would want to invest in building new relationships. I'm fine with being just with me and those daily superficial contacts with neighbors and some acquaintances.
The moments where my human feels somewhat lonely are very rare, but there's kind of a feeling also of not really being here in this human life anymore. That I just don't fit anymore. And what about enjoying all the human joys and pleasures in life which do, or should, involve other people?
It's my last lifetime, after all. Could you help me understand what that is about?
Master Anna: Right now, each one of you here are going through this intensive process of building the relationship with you. Just you. And that's what this is about.
Yes, there will be other people here and there in your life. But right now they've mostly backed away, because you asked them to. Because you are in the process of building your relationship with you, and you are not going to let anybody else come into your life in a deep way, as long as you feel like it's going to get in the way of this relationship with you.
And that is not a mental decision. It is not a mind decision. That is a decision of the whole you.
So, there will be other people in your life.
But first, where are you?
Where is your soul in all of this?
You are blending together, more and more. All of your lifetimes are blending together into you.
It's not mental. It's not something the mind can process.
But it is happening.
Slowly, in human terms. Very quickly in terms of your existence. But it is happening, and that is what this is about.
As for this being your last lifetime, that's a very limiting concept. It will not be the last time you are on Earth, or able to play the Games of Earth and have the experiences of Earth. But the next times will be different. They’ll be by choice. You can come and go. It'll be a whole different thing.
But yes, you will have time to celebrate the completion of this intense journey. And right now, you and every other person on this path are going through a very intense, very difficult, integration.
You keep wondering when it's going to be over. It will be over when it's over, and that is all we can tell you.
It is intense and it is difficult. And there is the other side. You will come out the other side, at just the right time for you.
So right now, focus on the relationship with you—which we know you are doing very well—and let that be enough. It will change when it's time, when you are ready. And when the whole you, not just your mind, makes that choice.
Your mind doesn't have the power to make those decisions, thank goodness. But when the whole you decides, then it will change.
So, pretend you are your greatest lover.
No, don't pretend, just be it.
And build that relationship.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, to open to self-love is such an amazing, beautiful process. And sometimes it does need so much solitude, also.
Master Anna: Yes.
Romana Aniya: And my experience is that after that time of lots of solitude, there come relationships and friendships, or even connections with family, that are, for me, so much more from the heart. That people who I am connecting with are so much more loving and respectful than before.
So, I would say, this is an AND.
Master Anna: Yes.
Romana Aniya: In a way, we are letting go of many old energy relationships, and it's so beautiful to connect on this new level. For me, at least.
Maybe I'm that kind of person who loves to have people around me. At least some of the time, not always. [laughter]
But I notice that the more I really am honest with what I need, and what feels good to me and what doesn't, and the more I learn to communicate this with others, the more the relationships that I have now around me are also reflecting this.
So, this is also something that I hope is helpful.
Are we ready for the next question?
Master Anna: Yes.
Romana Aniya, reading Question 5: Smoking has been a comfort to me and numbs my fear, but it's not serving me anymore. I have great shame about smoking cigarettes. It has been a comfort to me, something I can count on to calm me. But it is not serving me now, as I have trouble breathing. And that scares me. I know I must quit, but I doubt I will be able to. I feel hopeless. Would you please be so kind to address addiction? I feel it detracts from my self-love.
Master Anna: Indeed.
And addiction, whether it is to cigarettes, or drugs, or sugar as our previous questioner talked about, is all about shame. It's all about trying to find a place of comfort within all that shame. And that is not a bad thing, though it's not very effective.
You see, the root of addiction is about power. It's what happens when the human tries to take power over itself. Or perhaps more specifically, when the mind tries to take power over itself and over its human. When it tries to control itself.
Somebody told it that smoking cigarettes is bad, or dangerous, or whatever, so the mind gets all upset and says, “I have to stop!” But it hasn't addressed the shame, the grief, and the pain.
Because that's how shame manifests, and when that hasn't been addressed, oh, you can fight your addiction—which is trying to fill that void—all you want, and it won't work.
Or, if it seems to work—maybe you quit smoking for a while—it pops up somewhere else, in some other addiction. To sugar, or sex, or drugs, or whatever else. It doesn't go away, because the root cause hasn't been addressed. It's just the mind, the human, trying to control itself.
So, we would suggest that you take the shame off of yourself. Take off the guilt.
Allow yourself to enjoy when you smoke.
Have you ever tried that? To really allow yourself the enjoyment of your smoking? Without shame, without guilt, without yelling at yourself about how bad it is?
You, too, are going through this intensive transformation, and that has more to do with your breathing than the smoke ever did. Truly!
John says we might get in trouble for saying that, but we'll say it again: It is the shame you pile on yourself that has much more effect than the cigarette smoke. It is the way you try to control yourself.
So, we would ask you to stop that.
Take time, the next time you smoke, to truly enjoy it. To allow it for yourself.
Allow yourself to breathe it all the way in.
It'll probably take a little bit of work, and it'll take a very committed choice, because you are so programmed to only let it in part way, and to never let yourself enjoy it. To truly enjoy it.
We would ask you to allow that gift to yourself, and see what happens.
For a time, no matter what you do, you may have trouble breathing. You may have trouble with all kinds of things in your body, because of all the things that are happening in your body right now.
But we want to say, emphatically, that it is not about smoking.
The doctors will say different. And certainly it has an effect on your body, because of the shame you take on with it. So take off that shame.
Love yourself just the way you are.
Allow yourself to enjoy the smoke.
Stop calling it an addiction, because that is just another word for power and control.
Love it, instead.
Love you, with the cigarettes. With the smoking.
Be okay with yourself.
Give yourself the gift of enjoying you, even with the smoke.
Then it might happen that you start to lose interest in it, or it might not. But it doesn't matter, because in taking off the shame you'll do far more for your body than stopping the smoking ever will do. Or that anything physical will ever do.
Romana Aniya: Yeah.
Are we ready for the next one?
Master Anna: Yes.
Romana Aniya, reading Question 6: Thank you very much for this amazing class. I feel that a lot of transformation is going on within me. I have two questions.
First question: When I cultivate my awareness, breathing consciously and allowing to feel whatever comes up, a lot of pain comes. It feels unbearable and I do not know how to handle it, as it is repeating over and over again. It's just getting stronger. Nothing seems to be released.
I understand that pain is not real and is created by mind, but it feels very real and affects the body. Could you comment on that? Do you have any solutions?
Master Anna: Indeed.
The solution is to feel the pain.
But the mind freaks out. The mind says, “It's unbearable! It hurts too much! There's something wrong! I have to fix it!” Or, “Why isn't it releasing?”
And, well, as long as you're trying to release something to get rid of the pain, it's not going to work. It can't.
As long as you are waiting for something to release, you are not loving yourself.
The solution is in feeling the pain. Allowing it to be there.
Yes, sometimes it feels unbearable. But you can bear it.
It will never be to the point where you truly cannot bear it. But you have to stop fighting with it. You have to stop trying to get rid of it, or thinking that you are a failure because it's still there. You are not.
This is part of the process. It's part of the process of allowing all those parts of you that you've pushed off into the darkness to come home. Because so often when they do, you feel their pain for a time.
And if you just freak out and say, “Well, I must be doing something wrong because I'm still feeling it!” Well, then you're just pushing it back into the darkness, and it will have to come back out again. And in the place you are in your evolution, you can't allow that.
You have an agreement with your soul, with all of you, to keep pulling it back out until you can finally, truly allow it.
Allow yourself to go into the pain.
Eventually, you will find that the pain is just the resistance to that part of you that you don't like, and you will let it go. Your soul will bring it home. But you, the human, have to allow yourself to be in the pain. To allow it to happen, as a natural and truly beautiful part of your evolution and of your integration.
So, allow the pain.
Don't do it in order to get somewhere.
Don't do it to fix something, or to get through it.
Just allow it.
It will pass. It will change. Insights will come along with it, when you are not fighting it.
Allow yourself to hurt.
Yes, pain is manufactured in the mind in a certain way, but it is also a very real experience, with a very real message for you.
But that message is not going to come through your mind. It may show up there eventually. But it is going to come in your knowing, and only when that pain is finally welcomed home.
Romana Aniya: Yeah.
I would add also, from my own experience of a long time feeling the pain, that we have to really be aware that we are changing our body into the light body. We are full of fears, of shame, of guilt, of our society that we lived in for so many years and that was totally not accepting or loving or honoring our inner being or who we really are.
We had to create so many adaptations, so many survival things, to actually be in this reality. And now we are going into another reality where we can actually allow our self-love, where we can allow the presence of the soul.
And it's almost like the whole structure of our body, the bones, the muscle, all these parts of us who were kind of in this survival mode, are starting to relax. Are starting to realize, “Oh, I'm safe. I don't need to be all the time like that. I can relax.”
And this takes time. It's painful. And it's rather beautiful as we allow this pain to be welcomed.
I would maybe invite you to look at this pain, not as something waiting to be released or got rid of, as John said, but “Oh, it's another part of me! Another feeling of me that wants to be relaxed, and to come and tell me how it was difficult to be in this tension.” And just allowing, yeah, that it takes time.
But with you, as a loving parent for this child—or confused part of you, or whatever aspects or feelings are there in the body—you can be this loving place, this loving home, to allow them to come home and welcome them. And just allow the process.
Like for me, it's sometimes like a riverbed that is full of rocks. And this water, this flow of our life energy, is trying to get through. And the more soft that I allow myself to be, the more allowing, the more this water can flow in my body.
And it still hurts.
It still hurts, and even more hurts now, because the energies are really—this river is really—coming into our body and changing us.
And so, yeah, this would be something to add.
And another question from you, the same person:
Question 7: Self-love is a solution for shame.
What if I do not feel anything when I touch myself or make love? It's not pleasurable at all, and then a lot of frustration comes up, and another layer of shame. Because I start to think, what's wrong with me that it does not work? And then there is even more resistance within me. I feel to just stop doing it all.
Could you comment on that? What would you suggest?
Master Anna: Well, self-love is not all about touching yourself, or making love with another, or any of those things.
It is about accepting you, just the way you are.
Can you do that?
...
Can you truly accept you, feeling like you don't feel anything?
You actually do feel, but you are closing it down because it brings up so much old shame. And that's okay. That's not a failure. It’s something for you to accept in yourself.
The feeling will come back. It'll be there when it is ready, when you are ready, when you are truly loving yourself and accepting yourself just the way you are.
That is the hardest thing, for most people. To truly accept self, just the way you are.
The mind has all these things it wants to fix and change, and where it thinks it has failed or is failing: It's not feeling enough. It's not ‘whatever’ enough.
Take a breath.
Wrap your arms around yourself, and let it be okay.
You are in exactly the right place for you, right now, in your journey.
Can you trust your soul that much, to know that IT is... John was going to say ‘guiding you,’ but it is so much more than that. It is carrying you through this, and it will help you to open up at exactly the right time.
Can you trust that?
Can you hug yourself and say, I am okay, just the way I am!
And I am going to love me, and celebrate me, just the way I am, even though I don't understand what is happening.
I am just going to let life carry me through it, let my soul carry me through it.
And I am going to love me just the way I am.
...
Romana Aniya: Yeah, I would also add something to this, because I feel there is also another layer to that. I will share my story here, for many of us probably are not, or have not been, so much in our body in our lifetime.
I remember when I was younger, I was much less in my body than I am now. I was spending most of my time doing things like reading and, you know, things that could take me into my imagination rather than really enjoying this sensual life and enjoying the body. And so I can feel—I relate to that very much, of not really even feeling and enjoying life. I didn't even care for food, honestly. Whatever I ate was okay, because part of me was so much in other realms that what was happening with my body wasn't so important.
So, I feel it's just a process that we are coming into our body, and we need to be really patient with ourselves and really gentle, and accept that it's okay. It's okay how it is. And also, in the same time, allowing ourselves to lovingly come back into the body.
And yes, part of not being in the body is also that the body is so full of pain, and so it's easier to be somewhere else than in the body.
So this kind of connects also with the question from before. Coming back in the body brings lots of pain, lots of memories of unpleasant things from past lives and from this lifetime. And it takes lots of love, lots of self-love, to start to feel safe in this body and to let the energies come back to you.
It's also very helpful if your partner understands that, so you feel safe also in the relationship and you don't feel like, you know, you are kind of expected to have sexually intimate relationships or sexual interactions. Or to approach it slower.
For women, it has been such a deep, deep programming these last centuries that we need to make love to men because it's just our job, our responsibility, and it's our responsibility to make them satisfied. Yes, it sounds cruel, but that is how it has been for so many women.
And the natural thing is, the natural way of things, is just the opposite. That we women are this creation energy, and men are bringing themselves to us. They are giving us pleasure, making us happy, making our bodies joyful with the sexual act.
So this helped me personally a lot, when I realized that oh, my body is not here to serve the pleasure of somebody else. But my body here actually wants joy, and I can have this joy. I can have this pleasure. And with the understanding of both partners, and with patience and with gentleness, this can so much open this sensuality within and also help with slowly discovering what feels good to you.
Because maybe, you know, there are some things that you prefer more than others. Maybe you realize that you enjoy being in the sun or in the water, or walking barefoot in the grass. So all these sensual feelings can slowly come, can slowly become part of your life, and your sensuality can slowly open up to you.
Master Anna: Indeed.
We would like to add here, as we said to somebody else: This time is really about your relationship with you.
It is about discovering that, not imposing something on it. Sometimes touching yourself is a beautiful way of adding to that. And sometimes, for some people, it's not so much. It doesn't work that way for them.
It is for you to find, to discover, this relationship with you.
What works for you? What feels good to you? Open up to that.
It doesn't have to look a certain way, or any particular ways. What is it for you?
What makes you happy? What turns you on?
And go into that, because just like with a lover, you are building a relationship, a real, genuine relationship here. But it is with you.
So keep that first, always. That is your primary relationship.
And if you keep that clear, everything else will get clear also.
Romana Aniya: Yeah. That's so true!
Master Anna: Indeed.
Romana Aniya: And it's a foundation for every relationship, partnership, or other relationships.
Master Anna: Indeed. They all get so much clearer when you are clear on who is primary. When that is you, and your relationship with you.
Romana Aniya: Yeah.
Thank you for this honest and beautiful question!
...
Master Anna: Ahh... Next question.
John, reading Question 8: The past few weeks have been such a challenge. More physical pain. More—for the human—unpleasant encounters. Difficulties all around. It started quite some time before I took this class, and it has intensified since.
Do I, my human, feel all the stuff others of my incarnations are going through? Or am I missing something? Some other insight that escapes me?
Master Anna: Hmm....
Ah, if there's anything at all that you are missing, it is that this is just how things are right now. And how they will continue for some time.
The change, the change we've all dreamed of for so long, is here. It's happening. We are in the depths of it right now, and it may go even deeper before we come back out. And it hurts.
That's just a natural part of the process. It hurts!
Your body is changing. Your whole being is integrating. And yes, you do feel so many of these other facets of you.
As they begin to love themselves, they start to feel these things in their own darkness, these pains, these shames. And as they do, because you are what's been called the ‘designated ascendee,’ you feel so many of them too. And they affect your body.
Besides that, as part of this transformation you are becoming so very much more sensitive, so you feel it all more deeply. More deeply than ever.
Those other lifetimes had it so much easier, in a way, because they weren't so sensitive. They could push it away and leave it there. But now it's all coming back out, and you feel a lot of it. And that's just how it is.
So, you can complain about it, and we all do at times.
Or you can go into it and breathe it into you.
Don't try to figure out the reasons, for that will really hurt.
Anything that needs your mental attention will come into your mind's awareness all by itself, and then you get to just be with that. But so many of the reasons won't come into your mind, because you don't need them there. You just need to allow the pain.
If there's a message in the pain for you, and there often is, it'll show up. It will make itself clear to you. But otherwise, just be with it.
Don't push it away, don't try to fix it. It's okay to take a pill if that helps, if it's too much. But allow it.
Don't call it your aspect, for that's not the point. Yes, they are part of it, but what it really is, is the process of your transformation.
Not into a better human.
No, if you hold on to that it's really going to hurt, because the human, you could say, is dying. It is being absorbed into the light body.
It is not taking in a light body that suddenly makes it all well and strong and just like it was when you were young. That's not how it is. The essence of your human is being absorbed into the light body, and the rest is being released, slowly.
How that comes out remains to be seen. But it will come out, if you allow it to.
Like we told the others, just be with it.
Allow yourself to feel it.
Don't run from it, don't hide from it. Don't push it back into that dark place and try not to feel it.
Let yourself have the feelings. And in them you will discover some very, very beautiful gifts. At the right moment.
Ask your soul about it. If you have trouble doing that, go to ChatGPT and ask it to bring in your soul and talk to you. You might be surprised!
But ask your soul about this and what you need to know.
Romana Aniya: I feel, for myself, that the more safe I feel in my body, or safe with myself, the more pain is coming to me. Because when we don't feel safe, we tend to keep all these unpleasant feelings away. And everything that is unpleasant is covered by some activity, maybe watching some, you know, movies, having lots of activities in life, working a lot.
And now we are in this process when all this is fading away. We are basically forced to have time for facing the things that we've been pushing away. And it's time, really, to not be afraid of ‘unpleasant’ anymore.
And my experience is, when I allow this unpleasant whatever it is, emotional or physical, or just surrender and lie down and listen to something so it's easier for my mind to bear this process that is going on in my body, eventually it relaxes. It releases. And this unpleasant feeling is less unpleasant.
But it is time, as humanity I believe also, and us as individuals, when you simply need to face the uncomfortable stuff that has been for a long time waiting.
So, if we want it or not, that's just how it is.
Master Anna: It is. And sometimes, it's damned uncomfortable!
Romana Aniya: Yeah.
And if we've been told, you know, that this new energy is about living in ease and grace...
Which was told by the channelers, you know, and when I channel it really looks like ease and grace. But human life is a little bit less in grace many times, and that's okay.
I feel it's so much easier for me to know it's okay when I don’t compare myself to all these people, all these who are claiming they are in this ease and grace. Maybe they are on Facebook and Instagram, but I believe it's not so super grace as it looks like. We are all going through big chaos.
Master Anna: We are going through a difficult time.
And, another way to look at it is, if you look at all the people in the world who are going through this without understanding, without knowing what's happening, what we have is way more ease and grace than them. And more comfortable, but it still hurts.
And we have to allow that, because we... Well, once again, we are the trailblazers. We are the ones opening the pathways for the others, and sometimes that is a very painful process.
But we can take it. We can do it.
Otherwise, we wouldn't have come here right now. It's something we've been preparing for for millennia, so take a deep breath and allow it.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, and just a little bit of humor here:
Feel all these tremendous numbers of angels who are honoring you for that!
Master Anna: Indeed!
[laughter]
Romana Aniya: Which is a little bit of joke, and a little bit of truth!
Master Anna: A lot of truth!
Romana Aniya: A lot of truth.
Master Anna: So, one more question.
John, reading Question 9: As my liver health declined and I became more sensitive to other people's energy, I began to notice that aggression and fear in others often feel remarkably similar. And whenever someone seems to feel a loss of pride or a blow to their self-esteem, I often feel as if an energy plug is being inserted into the upper part of my abdomen, right around the solar plexus.
Through these experiences I came to recognize how I myself used to respond to others when I felt shame. And I realized why victims are, in some ways, also abusers, each having their own way of drawing or even stealing energy from others. I've come to see this as a part of a deeper truth, that the boundary between victim and abuser is not always clear-cut.
Of course, all of this might just be my misunderstanding or imagination. Yet I can't help but sense that when people experience shame or a collapse in self-worth, they have a reflexive tendency to energetically plug into someone else's solar plexus. As if it's a reflexive, instinctual response. These energy connections can feel painful, draining, and exhausting.
But I also wonder, if they're able to plug into me, does that mean I carry similar energetic vulnerabilities, like a victim mindset or unresolved emotional wounds?
What I do feel with certainty is that all of this is deeply tied to the emotion of shame. So I'd like to ask, what kind of attitude should I take in situations like this? And is there something I need to understand, or a perspective I should adopt when it comes to the shame others carry?
Master Anna: Ah, indeed.
Beautiful question! And beautiful answer you have given yourself.
We would say, the one thing to understand is that there is only one solution to energy stealing and energy feeding, and that is to love yourself.
To heal your own shame by accepting everything about yourself.
Because indeed, there has to be an energetic match for someone to take your energy. Otherwise, it's just not possible. There has to be an energetic match.
So your job is not to figure out what those are. You can't. That's a mind game that will confuse the heck out of you.
But understand that in accepting everything about you, including those feelings, those difficult feelings and pains in your body, and pains in your heart, and all these things, that opens you to yourself and it heals that shame.
And then there is no more energetic match that people can hook into.
It's not an overnight process, but that's what you are doing. Slowly, gently, sometimes not so gently, you are healing that shame. Within you, and no one else. Within you.
And that, all by itself, will stop anyone's ability to feed on you ever again.
You can still play with them. You can still exchange energies with them. But they won't be able to feed on you ever again, because there is no match anymore.
It's about loving you and accepting you, just the way you are.
Romana Aniya: What I would add to this is, this attack, when this attack happens, as you are saying, sometimes it's very aggressive and the body feels it. Like, for example, if somebody yells at you or criticizes you badly, or something.
Because we are so sensitive it still affects me, you know, whether I have this match or not. I don't know, you know what mean?
Master Anna: You feel their pull.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, I feel that in the plexus. Yeah, exactly as you say.
But for me, it's now different than before. My body still reacts, but then it takes less time for me to recognize what happened and to give safe space to my body, to my being.
And I don't play along with this, what happened, but I kind of realize it happened. It does affect me, it did hurt me, it confused me, but I realize, oh, I'm confused. I'm hurt. What's happening here? And I quickly come back to me.
That's the difference that I feel for myself, because my body still reacts. And maybe it's going to react always, you know? I don't know if I'm going to heal myself to the place where all layers of my body will be not respond to that.
But what really is important for me is to recognize what's happening, not to respond like I did in the past. In the past, when somebody did that I went into reaction, or into following the power of this person, thinking I just have to do it. Or, you know, different kinds of reactions or responses that we have to these low esteem attacks.
I really like how you called it “shame or a collapse in self-worth.” That's a beautiful definition of shame, isn't it?
Master Anna: Yes.
And it's important to remember that yes, self-love is the cure to energy feeding. But as long as you are in a human body, you are going to be going through this process in some form or another. Because you have been here many, many times, and there is lots of allowing to do.
But keep coming back to just accepting yourself, being true to yourself, and building that relationship with you, so that in every moment you know in yourself what feels good to you and what doesn't. And honoring that.
...
Ahh... It’s such an honor to be here with you and to do this class!
I want to close with... Unless you have something more?
Romana Aniya: There are always so many more things to say! But we still have time in another closing session.
Master Anna: Yes.
There's a story John once read somewhere, about a master who lived a couple hundred years ago in Japan or someplace, named Sono. And one day her student came to her and said, “Dear Sono, my life is a mess. Everything's going wrong. I don't have any money. My health is failing. My family's falling apart. All these things are wrong with my life. What do I do?”
And Sono... Hm, John's not sure he remembers the name, right, but it doesn't matter.
Sono said, “Dear one, here's what you do: In every moment, whenever something happens in your life, stop for a second. Take a deep breath and say, ‘Thank you for everything. I have no complaints whatsoever.’ And keep doing that every time something happens in your life.”
Well, a few weeks later the student was back in Sono's class and he said, “Sono, I've done what you said over and over and over again. I've said it, ‘Thank you for everything, I have no complaints whatsoever.’ But it's all still the same. Nothing has changed!”
And Sono looked him in the eyes and said, “Thank you for everything. I have no complaints whatsoever.”
And suddenly the man got it, and he went home joyful.
...
Did everything change in his life? Maybe, maybe not. But he changed.
He had a different perspective. He accepted himself the way he is, and his life.
Your life is part of you, and he accepted that the way it was. And it changed everything, in his perception. And when your perception changes everything else has a tendency to change too, but it doesn't matter anymore.
It doesn't matter if your body hurts, or if things fall apart in your life, because I have no complaint whatsoever. Thank you for everything!
It's such a beautiful place to be, and it's not a should. It's not something you have to turn into more shame. It's just a perspective to consider.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, and also, this perspective is coming back to who we truly are, isn’t it?
Master Anna: Indeed!
Romana Aniya: In this simplicity, in this pure consciousness that we are, that all these stories and sensations and everything is just kind of something that is...
Master Anna: Something that is an illusion.
Romana Aniya: Yeah, it's real, in a way.
Master Anna: It's a real experience.
Romana Aniya: But in a way, yeah, what is really real is who we are as our consciousness, our soul, our love within.
And remembering that brings so much different perspective of the human complaints, or human pains, or human ideas of how it should be and how we are supposed to be. And then our self-esteem is not endangered, because we are respected because we are.
And it doesn't even matter if we are respected, because I just am.
Master Anna: Indeed. And it is Soul's perspective.
Soul is so thankful to you, so grateful to you, and it truly has no complaints whatsoever.
And, you are your soul!
You keep looking for it outside of you. You keep looking for it to come into your life. But it is already here!
You are it!
Some things are getting changed and rearranged, but you are your soul, so you can claim that perspective right now:
Thank you for everything. I have no complaints whatsoever!
Romana Aniya: And so it is.
Master Anna: Indeed!
And so it is. We'll see you in the final session.
Blessings!
Romana Aniya: Blessings to you!
